GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

UniVlora

The UniVlora Scientific Journal publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed research across multiple disciplines. Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished work in accordance with the following guidelines.


  1. Manuscript Types

    The journal accepts the following types of submissions:

    • Original Research Articles – full reports of significant research findings.
    • Review Articles – comprehensive, critical overviews of specific topics.
    • Short Communications / Notes – brief reports of new findings or methodologies.
    • Case Studies (for Health, Law, or Education Sections) – illustrative examples with clear learning points.
    • Theoretical or Conceptual Papers – analysis or proposals advancing theory or frameworks.

  2. Language
    • Manuscripts must be submitted in English.
    • Authors are responsible for clarity, grammar, and proper terminology. Non-native English submissions should ideally be reviewed for language quality before submission.

  3. Manuscript Structure

    Authors should follow a clear and consistent structure:

    • Original Research Articles:
      • Title
      • Author(s) and affiliation(s)
      • Abstract (150–250 words) – including aim, methods, results, conclusion
      • Keywords (3–6 terms)
      • Introduction
      • Methods / Materials and Methods
      • Results
      • Discussion
      • Conclusion
      • Acknowledgments (if applicable)
      • References
    • Review Articles / Theoretical Papers:
      • Title, Author(s), Abstract, Keywords
      • Introduction
      • Main body organized by thematic headings
      • Conclusion / Future Directions
      • References
    • Formatting Guidelines:
      • Manuscript length: 5–12 pages (original research), 10–20 pages (review)
      • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double-spaced
      • Margins: 2.5 cm all around
      • Figures and Tables: embedded in the text, numbered consecutively
      • References: APA 7th edition or Vancouver style (depending on section; check section-specific requirements)

  4. Ethical Considerations
    • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
    • All studies involving human participants or animals must adhere to ethical standards and include approval from relevant ethics committees.
    • Authors must disclose conflicts of interest and acknowledge funding sources.
    • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited; similarity reports may be requested.

  5. Submission Process
    • Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission portal or via email as a Word document.
    • Each submission must include:
      • Title page (with author details and affiliations)
      • Main manuscript
      • Figures / Tables in editable format
      • Ethical approval documentation (if applicable)
    • Authors will receive a confirmation of receipt.

  6. Peer Review
    • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by experts in the field.
    • Review criteria include originality, scientific quality, clarity, methodology, significance, and ethical compliance.
    • Authors may be requested to revise and resubmit based on reviewers’ feedback.

  7. References
    • References should be accurate and complete.
    • Use APA 7th edition style
    • Examples:
      • APA: Smith, J. (2022). Title of the article. Journal Name, 10(2), 45–60.

  8. Copyright and Licensing
    • Authors retain copyright but grant the journal exclusive publication rights.
    • The journal operates under open-access principles, allowing free distribution while requiring proper citation.

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure:

  • Manuscript is original and not submitted elsewhere.
  • Manuscript follows the journal’s formatting guidelines (font, spacing, margins, headings).
  • Abstract is 150–250 words and includes aim, methods, results, conclusion.
  • 3–6 keywords are provided.
  • Figures and tables are numbered consecutively and properly cited in the text.
  • All references follow APA 7th edition (Social Sciences, Education, Law).
  • Ethical approval is provided for studies involving humans/animals.
  • Conflicts of interest and funding sources are disclosed.
  • All authors’ names and affiliations are listed on the title page.
  • Manuscript is double-checked for language and clarity (English).

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS


  • Submit Word or LaTeX files via the journal’s online portal or email.
  • Include all supplementary files, e.g., tables, figures, ethical approvals.
  • Ensure double-blind peer review compliance (remove author identifiers from the main text).
