The UniVlora Scientific Journal (UVSJ) is presently committed to ensuring that the publication of high-quality scholarly research is not limited by financial barriers. In support of equitable access to scientific publishing, the journal operates under a Diamond Open Access model, whereby neither authors nor readers are charged fees.

No Submission or Publication Fees

The UniVlora Scientific Journal does not currently charge authors any fees at any stage of the editorial or publication process.

Specifically, the journal does not impose:

§  manuscript submission fees;

§  editorial processing fees;

§  peer-review fees;

§  article processing charges (APCs);

§  publication or production fees;

§  page charges;

§  color figure charges;

§  supplementary material fees; or

§  article access fees.

All accepted articles are published online with immediate open access at no cost to the authors.

Funding

The publication and maintenance of the UniVlora Scientific Journal are supported by the University "Ismail Qemali" of Vlora, Albania. The University's financial support enables the journal to provide high-quality editorial services and immediate open access without charging authors or readers.

The journal's funding arrangements do not influence editorial decisions. Editorial independence is maintained in accordance with the journal's Publication Ethics and Editorial Process policies.

Editorial Independence

The acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is based exclusively on:

§  the scientific quality and originality of the research;

§  methodological rigor;

§  ethical compliance;

§  relevance to the journal's scope; and

§  the outcome of the peer-review process.

Authors' financial status, institutional affiliation, nationality, or ability to pay do not influence editorial decisions.

Transparency

The UniVlora Scientific Journal is committed to transparency regarding publication fees. Any future changes to this policy will be approved by the Editorial Board and clearly announced on the journal's website before taking effect.

At the time of publication of this policy, the journal charges no submission fees and no Article Processing Charges (APCs).
